Performance Factor Calculations for chlorinated Swimming pools
For the Performance Factor Calculation enter the amount of chlorine that you use in terms of litres of Sodium Hypochlorite, the weight in kg of Calcium hypochlorite or the weight of any other form of chlorine listed in the table. You can only select one form of chlorine for the calculation.
In the next cell, enter the number of days that the quantity of chlorine has lasted. For example, if you went through 120 kg calcium hypochlorite in 60 days, enter 120 in the calcium hypochlorite cell and 60 for the number of days.
You now need to enter the average number of bathers using the pool on a daily basis. If you have used a figure of 7 day, 60 days or 100 days for the chlorine consumption calculation then you should try and use an average daily attendance to the pool over the same time frame as your chlorine consumption. For example if 15,000 entered the pool over a period or 60 days, the average daily attendance is 15000/60 = 250. Enter 250 in the cell for average daily number of visitors
Once you have entered the data the performance factor will appear in the last cell.
